Undergraduate Hall III is a 5-storey building at the sea front of the campus.
Up to 473 students can be accommodated in UG Hall III including 260 students in double rooms and 213 students in triple rooms.
"Green-living” is the theme of UG Hall III. Under the guidance of the Residence Master, various green living programs such as waste recycling program and organic farming program are implemented to create a green atmosphere in hall and raise the eco-awareness of residents. Hall Education Team - UG HALL III
When you live with us, you will have a holistic mentoring team supporting you all along the way. Each hall has a Residence Master who is a full-time faculty of the University and lives in the hall together with hall residents. The main role of the Residence Master is to provide intellectual and pastoral guidance and organize activities that will facilitate learning in the affiliated hall. The Residence Master is assisted by Assistant Manager and a group of Postgraduate Hall Tutors.

Hall Facilities
There are two types of room in UG Hall III:
- Double Room
- Triple Room
All bedrooms in UG Hall III are fully furnished and air-conditioned. A chair, a desk, a wardrobe, a bookshelf, an internet outlet port and a bed with mattress are provided in the room for each resident. Electronic meters are installed for the air conditioners so that residents are charged according to actual electricity consumption.
There is a common room on each floor where residents can meet and socialize. Television, sofa, newspapers, 2 refrigerators and telephone are provided.
A pantry, equipped with a sink, a drinking fountain and 2 microwave ovens, is located inside the common room. There are no cooking facilities in the pantry nor in any other areas in the hall premises
Each floor has two toilets which equipped with shower facilities. Hot water is provided.
The laundry is equipped with 6 washing machines and 6 drying machines. All are smart card-operated. Irons and ironing boards are provided upon request and subject to availability.
